Photos OF YOUR PET

For a custom pet painting, I use the photo you provide as reference. Choose a picture that showcases your pet's unique character and traits. A clear, high-quality photo is essential, as it enables me to capture your pet's likeness with precision. The quality of the photo impacts the realism of the final painting.

 

What do I look for when receiving the photos?

 

To capture your pet's likeness, I require a clear, high-quality photo of their face with good lighting. Please refrain from using filters, as they can distort colors and details. I focus on detailed, headshot-style portraits - feel free to browse my gallery for examples

 

If possible send more than one reference photo, it’s nice for me to have options to pick from to see which will translate best to canvas 

 

Background colors

Make sure to include your background color. Stay away from black, grey and white or any color close to your pets coat.

 

Payment

I take a 50% deposit before starting on your portrait, second half + shipping cost will be collected once the portrait is ready to be mailed out.

 

My payment methods include: Venmo, Cash app or an invoice. The invoice payment method is best if you prefer to use credit and/or if you are wanting to choose the payment plan option. 

 

​Turnaround time:

My current turnaround time is 2-8 weeks, depending on the volume of orders. When you place an order, I'll provide you with an estimated completion time and keep you updated on your order's position in my queue. You'll receive a message once I start working on it.

 

Once your painting is complete, I will send you a picture before I ship it off to make sure everything is how you pictured it to be!

 

Shipping

I use USPS Priority Mail which typically takes 2-4 business days to deliver your painting.

 

I ship internationally from the United States! International shipping costs will be calculated separately.

 

POLICY

The 50% deposit is non refundable. This covers my time and supplies. If you are unhappy with the final product after your suggested changes are made your painting will not be mailed out and the second half of your payment will not be collected
